All stone repairs completed by Bricksuk Ltd t/a Remedial Repair are guaranteed for 10 years.
We guarantee that the stone repairs that we carry out will .................. for the 10 year period following the completion date of the repairs.
We repair stonework damage using binding restoration mortar...................................................
Repaired stonework can still ‘breath’ and behave as it should do as the outer leaf of a building and deal with weather elements in exactly the same way, absorbing and releasing moisture as stonework should do.
Therefore our repairs are guaranteed to have no detrimental affect on the technical specification and performance of the natural facing stone.
Repaired stonework will behave and act just as natural stonework would, ie, it will still naturally 'age 'and 'weather' through the weather cycles.
Upon completion and acceptance of any of our stone repairs, the signed job sheet confirms the work having been completed to the customers satisfaction and this then forms the basis and visual benchmark for the stonework and the 10 year guarantee is activated.
This guarantee would be actioned if any failure of the stone repair became apparent at anytime during the 10 year period following the completion date of the stone repairs the guarantee covers.
Bricksuk Ltd t/a Remedial Repair would initially attend site to confirm that the difference falls outside that of the scope of 'natural weathering' and general organic and urban grime as detailed by the Brick Development Association (BDA).
Bricksuk Ltd t/a Remedial Repair would then attend site to survey and carry out corrective tinting to resolve and restore to the customers previous approved satisfaction.
This Guarantee will be declared void if anything is applied to the stone, ie, sealant, paint, etc. after the repair work has been carried out.
The Guarantee will also be void if the stonework is allowed to become covered in excessive organic growth, etc.
