Brick Tinting Lifetime Guarantee
All Brick tinting completed by Bricksuk Ltd t/a Remedial Repair is guaranteed for the life of the brick.
We guarantee that the brick tint that we apply will never fade or alter in its colour pigment for the duration of the life of the brickwork.
As opposed to a masonry paint or acrylic tint that sits on the surface of the brickwork, our tints soak down into the brickwork from the applied surface, dying the actual particles of the clay/concrete. Our tint is a dye and is permanent.
Tinted brickwork can still ‘breath’ and behave as it should do as the outer leaf of a building and deal with weather elements in exactly the same way, absorbing and releasing moisture as brickwork should do.
Therefore our tints are guaranteed to have no detrimental affect on the technical specification and performance of the manufactured facing brick.
Tinted brickwork will behave and act just as untinted brickwork would, ie, it will still naturally 'age 'and 'weather' through the weather cycles but this will have no affect upon the tint applied.
Upon completion and acceptance of any of our tinting works, the signed job sheet confirms the work having been completed to the customers satisfaction and this then forms the basis and visual benchmark for the brickwork and the lifetime guarantee is activated.
This guarantee would be actioned if any fading or difference became apparent at anytime in the tinted brickwork during the natural lifetime of the brick.
Bricksuk Ltd t/a Remedial Repair would initially attend site to confirm that the difference falls outside that of the scope of 'natural weathering' and general organic and urban grime as detailed by the Brick Development Association (BDA).
Bricksuk Ltd t/a Remedial Repair would then attend site to survey and carry out corrective tinting to resolve and restore to the customers previous approved satisfaction.
