This statement covers the issues of bribery in the workplace and how BricksUK Ltd take steps to understand the risks of and ensure bribery does not occur in the BricksUK Ltd work chain. BricksUK Ltd believe there to be a very low, if any level, of bribery occurring between any parties involved with the type of work carried out.
BricksUK Ltd work with property owners, building contractors, house builders and building product manufacturers across the UK to colour tint, weather and repair brick, stone and concrete building materials in situ on site.
BricksUK Ltd operate with a zero-tolerance policy towards bribery and corruption. All employees are expected to ensure the highest standards of conduct and integrity whilst representing BricksUK Ltd. Anything thought to be suspicious should be reported to a Line Manager as a matter of urgency and appropriate action will then be taken.
To minimise the risks of bribery within the business all enquires and quotations are dealt with through the main office with all quotations and subsequent orders being dealt with with an electronic history. Employees understand to ensure all new enquiries are passed to the office.
If the risk of bribery is thought to have increased in the future, further advice, training and systems will be put into place to ensure the zero-tolerance policy is strictly adhered to.
This policy will apply to all staff.
As BricksUK Ltd grows official policies and procedures will be put in place in relation to bribery, information and training will also be provided during new employee inductions. Policies and procedures to be revised annually.
