Vehicle checks must be carried out before setting off each day. These checks ensure that we are our vehicles function correctly and safely. Not only are these to ensure that the vehicles function effectively and less likely to break down, but in the event of an accident, records of these checks may be requested by any investigatory body to ascertain if any subsequently found vehicle defects were responsible for the accident and thereby direct any liability.
